It's been almost four months (wow!) since my snowy trip to NYC to help launch EMILY SAW A DOOR. Since then Emily has received many accolades, including a starred SLJ (School Library Journal) review, and has turned up in Taiwan, Alaska, New Zealand, and many other exotic locations! Colby Sharp even chose it as an 'outstanding picture book of 2026!"

And in the meantime, the wonderful illustrator of Emily, Orit Magia, has also landed a picture book deal all her own!! With the same editor!!!!

In other news, I have a new wonderful literary agent! The incredible Gaby Cabezut from the Seymour Agency. also... Ran Shternin is busy creating a whole new experience for Ourboox.com authors. Can't wait to try out the new editor!
